Manassas, Virginia is a community that offers a rich American history. Another museum that is a local treasure is the Freedom Museum. This museum is located at the Manassas Regional Airport, at 10600 Harry J. Parrish Boulevard. The Freedom Museum is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Museum System.

Inside the Freedom Museum, visitors will find a lot of information about American Military history, including information about the Korean War and the Vietnam War, as well as aircraft exhibits. Although this museum is relatively small, previous visitors have commented on the wealth of information, and the details, that can be explored inside the museum.

Guests at the Freedom Museum can also enjoy the current “comings and goings” of planes that are traveling in and out of the regional airport. Through the large museum windows, you will find that you have a great view of the daily operations at the regional airport.
